We’re excited to provide your fur family with the highest standard of ‘fear free’ vet care!

We are proud to be the first clinic in Sydney where all of our staff members are certified fear free professionals! This means we pay close attention to both the physical health of your pet, as well as their emotional welfare during their veterinary visits. We think you’ll notice the difference from the moment you step inside the clinic!

We treat every patient as an individual and take our time to get a full understanding of any health concerns you may have. We will then examine your pet before going through your options, discussing any necessary tests or treatments and ultimately coming up with a health or treatment plan for you fur child.

Health Checks & Consultations

We practice ‘fear free’ consultations and have dedicated dog and cat consult rooms to help your fur child relax into the visit. Each consult or vaccination includes a head-to-tail examination and we can focus in on any area of concern.

Our standard consult times are extended to between 20-40 minutes depending on what you pet’s health issue may be. This gives us plenty of time to understand your concerns, your pet’s health issue, as well as explain any testing or treatment options available to you.

Desexing Procedures

Whilst desexing is a routinely performed surgery, we ensure that our focus is on quality and comfort for your pet. The procedure is known as a ‘castrate’ in male pets and as a ‘spey’ in females.

We practice the highest standards of care throughout the surgery, with all patients receiving a pre-anaesthetic blood test, then a closely monitored anaesthetic including ECG, blood pressure, oxygen levels and capnograph.

Included in the cost of the procedure, all patients receive IV fluids, plenty of pain relief to keep them comfortable at home and an elizabethan collar to stop them from chewing at their incision.

Dentistry

We now know that 75% of pets over 3 years of age suffer from dental disease – so let’s do something about that together!

We offer FREE dental health checks with one of our vets, so they can assess your pets oral hygiene, explain how we can help and give you an estimate for dental work to get you pet smiling again!

Our dental treatments are performed under general anaesthetic and include digital dental x-rays. Our VetTome extractor then allows us to perform the least invasive techniques to treat broken and infected teeth and painful gum disease.

In Clinic Diagnostics

We strive for the highest quality of care for your pets and that means having a complete range of diagnostic tests available at our fingertips.

This large range of tests can be performed at the time of consultation with immediate results, including an array of blood tests, urine tests, microscopic tests, blood pressure readings, ECG and blood oxygen saturation monitors, digital x-rays and ultrasound.

We then have the backup support of a pet specific laboratory, Idexx laboratory, where we can send off any more complex tests and we typically can expect results back within 48 hours. The pathology specialists at Idexx and then also available to help guide any other necessary tests.

X-rays & Ultrasound

We are proud to have the latest and highest quality in digital x-ray technology and ultrasound at our fingertips.

Our digital xray machine was upgraded in 2018 and give us instant turnaround when we take x-rays. This means less stress for your pet when we’re getting images of their affected body part and means we can institute treatment quicker and more reliably.

Our ultrasound allows us to get live images either in consult or in hospital to help work towards a diagnosis for your pet.

We then regularly have visits by specialist radiographers to help in the more complex cases and have access to specialist radiologists to help interpret the more complex cases available 24/7.

General & Orthopaedic Surgery

Our expert team is dedicated to providing your pet with the best possible surgical outcomes.

Our vets perform routine desexing procedures daily. These include cat, dog and rabbit castrates and speys. All of the patients undergoing our routine procedures are monitored with the use of the latest anaesthetic equipment and receive IV fluids, in hospital and take home pain relief an E collar.

Our team has also undergone further training in soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures. This allows us to offer more advanced surgeries like dog and cat fracture repairs, patella surgery and cruciate repair surgery including the lateral suture technique and TTAs (Tibial Tuberosity Advancement). We then guide you through your pet’s recovery to help achieve the best outcome.

Specialist Services

Our team of experienced vets are equipped to treat a huge variety of cases within the clinic. For the more complex cases, we are proud to have a number of specialists on hand that can visit the clinic or provide additional advice.

We regularly work alongside specialist radiologists, cardiologists and surgeons in our hospital, allowing for consistency of care within our clinic. We also have access to specialist veterinary oncologists and nutritionists to guide us in cancer and nutritional based diseases.

In the case that your pet needs more intensive or 24 hour monitoring, we will always offer full referral to a specialist hospital.

Chemotherapy

Treating cancer can be a difficult emotional journey for owners to take with their pets. We do our best to work with you every step of the way, starting from the initial consultation, through the diagnostic phase and ultimately explaining the diagnosis and treatment options.

We can perform the initial surgery in the clinic if required, and then follow up with chemotherapy in our clinic under the advice and guidance of specialist veterinary oncologists. That way you have the comfort and consistency of our care throughout the duration of treatment.

Laser Therapy

We are proud to have laser therapy available in clinic, which we use as an adjunct treatment in pets with joint and muscular pain.

Laser therapy sessions take approximately 30 minutes and are administered by our team of highly trained nurses, who perform the therapy regularly.

We offer a variety of laser therapy packages based on the needs of your dog or cat, starting from intensive therapy for acute injuries, to ongoing monthly visits for more chronic conditions like arthritis. Call our team to find out more!
